when writing a profile of someone, you should always try to display, to the best of your ability the personality of the person you are writing about. it is your duty to write in a manner that people will feel like they are witnessing exactly what the profiler would do in what ever situation you are writing about. when i wrote a profile on my supervisor i chose to write about how she operates on a regular work day. i made sure that i expressed how she spoke with certain people and the things that she was feeling throughout the day. once i wrote put the final touches on the paper, i let her read it. i think that goes without saying.  i don't think its fair to publish work about someone without letting them approve it first, they should be able to know whats being said about them. make sure that whats being put out is as close to them as possible.
