pirates of the Caribbean

being that i've never seen Pirates Of The Caribbean, a good review is very important, and for me i think Kemodes was very persuasive. in his review he stated how the movie was too narrative and the characters "...had to keep stopping and explaining the movie to each other." this for me is very annoying especially in a movie. Its like please will we just get on with the movie already. the purpose of a movie is to add visual. if im watching the movie i can clearly see whats going on without you having to explain over and over. also he said "every five minutes a new quest is announced.... each more fatuously inconsequential than the last..." another thing i wouldn't personally enjoy about this movie. i am not a fan movies with a mission involved so to read that this movie constantly does it just really throws me over the edge. but there are some things about this review i didnt find that convincing and that was what he said about johnny depp's acting. from all the commercials that i've seen the movie is meant to bee dramatic and over the top so by him saying that this was some of depps worst acting isnt the most selling. lasly he complains about the movies length. i LOVE trilogy's. the lord of the ring is my favorite movie to date and the length is one of the reasons why. as long as a movie is good, it never matter how long it is or how many sequels it has. over all i would say that this was a pretty good and persuasive review because even though the new pirates is out, i dont really want to see it based on some of the things kemode said. but then again, i always like to see things for myself and have my own opinion. so maybe one day if one of these movies happen to be on television, i'll leave it on that station.
